Our Mission
At DBSD we want our dancers to realize their potential and follow their dreams. We have a place for the recreational dancer as well as the full time student. Every dancer and their dance education is equally important at DBSD. Work your hardest, have fun and we'll do the rest!
Doreen Bisset School of Dance
Is a private dance school, operating in Transcona since 1966 and in Wolseley since 2003.
The school year starts in September and concludes with a full costume recital in June.
Classes are arranged according to age and ability. Progress depends on regular attendance. In cases of absenteeism, class will not be made up. If a child is absent due to illness for several weeks, then a make up class will be arranged to bring the student up to date. There are no refunds for missed classes.
Parent-Teacher communication is always encouraged. Please do not hesitate to ask about your child's progress, or to make us aware of any problems that may arise.
DBSD staff have passed a criminal background /child abuse registry check.
